HILLHURST AVENUE—Stephen Gee, author of the newly published book, “Iconic Vision: John Parkinson, Architect of Los Angeles,” will speak at the Architecture and Beyond Lecture Series, Thurs., March 13th from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. at the Los Feliz Library, 1874 Hillhurst Ave.
Parkinson, whose architectural works define Los Angeles, was responsible for more than 400 of the city’s buildings, 50 of which remain in downtown Los Angeles, including City Hall, the Memorial Coliseum, Grand Central Market and Union Station.
The free lectures are supported by the Friends of the Los Feliz Library and merchants of the Los Feliz Village Business Improvement District.
