Authorities surrounded an apartment complex located at 4646 Los Feliz Blvd. near Vermont Avenue at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and evacuated the building as well as those surrounding, according to Lt. Bob Wright of the Tustin Police Dept.

According to Wright, police were attempting to serve a search warrant related to thefatal shooting of 23-year-old Israel Corpus, who was gunned down around 4 p.m. last Sunday at an apartment complex in Tustin.
