LOS ANGELES — Today, Los Angeles City Councilmember Ryu announced that Julia Duncan, the Council District Four Senior Planning Deputy, will be leaving her post for a position in the City Planning Department. Joining the team will be Renee Weitzer as a Senior Advisor for Land Use & Development.

“Today is a momentous day for my office, as we say goodbye to Julia Duncan, who has been with my team since the campaign,” Councilmember Ryu said. “We are sad to see her go, as she has served this office with professionalism, brilliance, and a tireless dedication to Council District Four and it’s residents. However, we are so proud as she steps into this new role in the Planning Department. The City family is very lucky to have a planner like Julia Duncan.”
